Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe. **About the role** We are seeking a highly skilled **Principal Electrical Engineer** to join our vibrant and driven water team based in either Auckland or Wellington to strengthen our Electrical Discipline across New Zealand and deliver our forward program of projects. You will be joining this busy team to deliver challenging, multimillion-dollar and multi-disciplinary projects across New Zealand, Australia, North America and the UK. Additionally, you will: * Work on exciting, challenging and cutting-edge water, sustainability and bioenergy projects across NZ and globally. * Lead the delivery of Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation work packages, working together with junior Engineers * Collaborate with and guide other disciplines engineers on multidisciplinary projects * Have client-facing opportunities and site work which offers variety in daily tasks. * Be supported by a team of Electrical Designers, CAD and Graduate Engineers across countries **What you will bring** You will have extensive technical experience in aspects of Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation Engineering for infrastructure and industrial projects, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater. You will be a leader within your field and contribute to mentoring others. You also have outstanding relationship management skills and have experience collaborating and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders including local authorities, clients, and partner companies.
