Principal Electrical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to design and develop complex electrical systems for multi-million dollar UUAV projects in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

BS degree required US Citizen only, must be able to obtain clearance if needed

Skills:

Experience with selecting and sizing electrical components and wiring devices Proficiency in DC power systems design Skill in calculating and estimating system power and energy requirements Expertise in minimizing electrical noise and EMI through wiring, cabling, grounding Experience with brushless motor drives Ability to design, analyze, and tune closed-loop feedback control systems Familiarity with low-medium voltage power systems (120, 240, 480, 3000+ VAC) Proficient in Simulation and Analysis software packages (SPICE, MathCAD, MATLAB or Simulink) Knowledge of schematics and CAD tools (Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) Understanding of industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC, ISO, NEMA, NEC, MIL) Skilled in data communications signaling integration (Ethernet, USB, RS-232/422/485) Experience using electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)

Responsibilities:

Produce significant portions of electrical and control system designs Generate proper designs from incomplete high-level system or subsystem requirements

Pay Details: $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
