Develop and manage new work opportunities on related to economics, econometrics, performance-based planning, and decision supportWork with a larger practice to coordinate work assignments and expand the economic-related servicesMarket economics consulting services by leveraging existing client relationships and building new onesDevelop and maintain relationships with strategically important clients and potential clientsIdentify cross-sector opportunities across business groupsDevelop proposals and plan approaches to requested workDirect, plan, and design research to aid in the interpretation and solution of complex problems with economic relationshipsConduct research, analyses and devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various economic techniquesDevelop consulting teams to meet client needsManage project teams to deliver client assignmentsPlan, organize, and supervise work of professional staff and provide staff supportContribute to the strategic operational and marketing plans of the organizationPerform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience including staff management and development, client development, proposal writing and project managementPhD in Economics or related fieldMasters Degree in EconomicsMinimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in one or multiple areas including: Economic analysis (benefit-cost analysis and return on investment), Econometrics or statistics, Economic impact analysis, Economic development, Risk analysis, or Performance-based planning and decision supportMinimum of 10 years of responsibility for client interaction and business developmentMinimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project managementPrior experience in project management and staff directionAbility to cultivate new clients and manage strategic relationships Must be willing to be an active participant in our employee-owned cultureWhat We Believe
