The Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) Product Line within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area has an opening for a Principal Contract Administrator in support of a Classified Major New Start pursuit at the forefront of development of new Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. This is an individual contributor position based in Nashua, NH. Due to the classified nature of this role, this position requires on-site support. The selected candidate will work under minimal supervision with a variety of Classified customers to shape and close business opportunities. BAE Systems Contracts organization is the trusted business partner managing customer relationships, negotiating deals, creating innovative solutions, and providing regulatory knowledge to our internal stakeholders and external customers. To be successful in the position, you will require a comprehensive knowledge of business agreements, government and commercial contracting methods, including policies, procedures and regulations. The role requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgement and demonstration of leadership in contracting strategy and methods, to include proficiency in research and presentation skills. You will regularly contribute to the development and implementation of new business methods, processes, and contracting concepts in order to achieve business unit and Contracts organizational goals and objectives. Most importantly, this position will require you to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers. Principal Contract Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Collaboration with internal program office and our customers to solve complex issues + Application of business acumen in furtherance of sound contract execution + Coordination, negotiation, and management of complex proposals and contracts + Evaluation of solicitation provisions, contractual requirements, terms and conditions, regulatory requirements to enable sound business advice and counsel to program and functional leads + Extensive knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and ability to interpret and apply all internal policies and procedures in furtherance of program execution + Preservation and maintenance of official contractual records for all assigned proposals, contracts, and agreements We are committed to employee growth and development, encouraging employees to build growth-oriented careers at BAE Systems. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related contracts experience or equivalent experience in Government contracting + Active Secret clearance + Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearances + Extensive knowledge of the FAR/DFARS + Contracting experience with various customers across the USG and industry + Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations + Ability to perform at a high level and remain flexible amongst changing work settings this role requires on-site support in various closed areas + Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, leadership, and customers + Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Computer skills to maintain contract records within our business systems **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Active Top Secret clearance + Experience with the large, complex proposals and contracts + Experience with Engineering and Manufacturing Development contracts + Experience with commercial contracting, technical data packages, and/or intellectual property **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
