ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, QA, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver software solutions that meet or exceed expectations.Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify bugs, and mentor junior team members.Provide technical leadership and expertise in the selection of software development tools, technologies, and methodologies.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.Contribute to the development of software solutions in the medical devices field, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards if experienced.
Essential Skills7+ years of experience with Cloud and mobile development2+ years of experience providing leadership, training, guidance, and support to software engineering staffBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices with technologies such as Cloud Architecture (Azure) and scaling, PostgreSQL, REST API design, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud native app design, Cybersecurity (CIA Triad), CI/CD Pipeline, Microservices, Event-based architecture, and Software Configuration ManagementExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentKnowledge of Agile/Scrum based product developmentStrong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AWS, GCP, or other major cloud computing servicesExperience in medical device (IEC62304)Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure or AWSMaster's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience using Atlassian Tools or equivalent for software development
