A Day in the LifeMedtronic has a great opportunity for a professional to join a market leading medical devices company. For our International Diabetes Commercial Operations team we are looking for a Commercial Operations master data lead who will play a critical role in the International Minimed organization in our pursuit of data driven insights and solutions. Focus will be on master data elements critical for customer experience and commercial processes both for B2B and B2C.
We are creating a scalable, proactive customer-centric ecosystem where data governance is a crucial part. Key is to empower and enable talents to identify, develop and deploy processes to serve our Diabetes market. Our ambitions are to increase patient experience, increase employee satisfaction and reduce our cost-to-serve.

As B2B master data lead you are responsible for defining optimized processes linked to Minimed B2B & B2C master data and overall governance to ensure optimized set up considering changes of the Diabetes transformation. You will be monitoring and supervising changes to processes and systems, technology, and structures within the organization and play a crucial role in ensuring that all stakeholders embrace the change. Next to that you act as a central point of contact for the master data stewards, regional contacts and business transformation product owners and value stream leads. Together you define objectives to successfully deploy and embed new governance and policies across the regions and functions.
You will support the program team in optimizing our processes and organizational structure to increase efficiency and service delivery. You will be consulting with various stakeholders and ensure new processes can be implemented with speed and decisiveness.
This is a remote position so you can be located anywhere within Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Spain or Portugal.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Define and own master data (regional) principles and policiesAligning with functions and regions to ensure new policies and governance are in line with business modelsContribute to and influence Diabetes roadmaps for Data / Information ManagementUnderstand the technology landscape of transactional systems, data management and master data layer, to analytics and consuming applicationsCollaborate with IT Master Data Management team & country data stewards to ensure quality of data is in place and policies and guidelines are being adhered toEstablish consistent metrics to measure quality of dataTracking implementation/deployment progress and reporting back to program leadershipLeverage effective relationship building among regional & functional business partners to understand their data needs, data dependencies and identify opportunities for business process standardization, ensuring high employee engagementIdentify risks and drive continuous improvements in data management through technological innovation, operational improvement, and championing adoption

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, preferred in a relevant area7+ years of experience in program, project management in mid to large size companiesProven track record of working within a multicultural environmentExperience working in a complex matrix environmentExcellent spoken & written English skillsLocated in the Central European Time zone, or willing to align to the working hours‘Getting things done’ and hands-on mentality; act decisively and take responsibilityThink & act end-to-end at process & organizational levelAbility to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal; exceptional ability to solve problems and think analyticallyGreat organizational, project, and time management skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, to a variety of audiences, active listening skillsForward looking with a holistic approach, acute acumen and understanding of organizational and regional opportunities, issues and challengesComprehend country or function specific legal and/or cultural needs and make sure those are considered in new processes

We would prefer a candidate with experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry, a strong understanding of change management principles with effective stakeholder management skills (certification preferred), working knowledge of Medtronic practices, standards, and internal resources, and ideally with knowledge of the Diabetes organization and experience with SAP Customer Master and SFDC.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Czechia: 1,280,000.00 CZK - 1,920,000.00 CZK | Poland: 204,080.00 PLN - 306,120.00 PLN | Spain: 60,000.00 EUR - 90,000.00 EUR | 

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
