Principal Business Insights Analyst- Mortgage

Description

The Principal Business Insights Analyst will play a crucial role in growing Centralized Sales at Citizens Home Mortgage, serving as a strategic partner to senior executives and leading a team of 2-3 analysts focused on shaping and executing our Centralized Sales growth agenda while also supporting day-to-day management of the Centralized Sales team. 

This role will involve working closely with a broad range of partner groups (e.g. Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Finance, other Strategy and Analytics teams, etc.) to develop new lead opportunities, improve and optimize lead conversion rates, test marketing strategies, understand key performance trends, and support holistic, effective management of Centralized Sales.

Strong communication and storytelling skills, deep analytical expertise, and well-honed abstract problem-solving skills are a must. Prior experience with Sales strategy in Mortgage is strongly preferred.

Primary responsibilities include

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Finance, other Strategy and Analytics teams, etc.) to drive growth of Centralized Sales via development, testing, and execution of new lead and marketing programsAct as a trusted advisor to leadership in Centralized Sales, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and supporting holistic management of the channelCommunicate complex analyses in a way that is understandable and actionable for non-technical audiencesInfluence business decisions by delivering clear, concise recommendations backed by dataLead a team of 2-3 analysts, promoting skill development and best practices.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

7+ years of financial services experience in a strategy or analytics focused role with exposure to Centralized Sales strategy in Mortgage strongly preferred.7+ years of relevant experience in a quantitative role.  Experience with SQL required. Experience with SAS, R, Python, and/or Tableau are strongly preferred.Ability to drive actionable outcomes from analytical insight and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to business leadership.Exceptional problem-solving acumen with ability to think strategically. Time Management – ability to prioritize competing assignments and thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environment. Strong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 remote
