Do you excel at driving technical excellence for enterprise billing systems while collaborating across teams and partners? At Spectrum, you will manage billing environments, support critical operations and deliver innovative solutions that align business and technical requirements. Your contributions will directly influence operational stability and service quality for millions of customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead technical management and operational oversight of Spectrum billing systems across production, development, testing and training environmentsPartner with teams to configure and update billing environments, ensuring milestones are met and best practices are appliedEngage extensively with internal teams, billing vendors and external contacts to ensure successful project collaboration and supportAnalyze complex data and generate reports, macros and innovative processes to solve problems and support implementationsReview requirements documents and validate updates to ensure continuity and system integrity before any implementation or updateMonitor work queues, proactively resolve issues and maintain production system stability to prevent service impactsSupport and configure billing instances for test and training, ensuring environments are fully prepared for user activitiesMentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and guiding the team to achieve departmental objectivesWorking Conditions
Participate in on-call rotation to provide exceptional billing platform interface supportThis position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each weekWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience
8+ years of telecom experience8+ years working with billing platform applications8+ years of CSG or ICOMS billing system experience5+ years as a lead or subject matter expertSkills
Ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional communication between technical and non-technical teamsDecision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressureAbility to contribute to multiple projects simultaneouslyLogical reasoning to evaluate options and approachesProficiency in personal computer and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, Visio and ProjectEffective prioritization and execution in a high-pressure environmentExpert knowledge of billing systems and platforms including CSG, ICOMS, Amdocs or new systemsAdvanced IT operations knowledge and understanding of system interconnectivityAdvanced proficiency in billing platforms including SQL, parameter entry, security, product and pricing structuresDemonstrated leadership and mentoring skillsHighly self-motivated and self-directedPreferred Qualifications
