Our department delivers build (projects) and run (support) services for the main DHL website, www.dhl.com. To enhance the functionality of the existing platform, we have formed a team that delivers microservices based on business needs. This team consists of 6 members located in the Czech Republic and India.

As a Microservices Team Architect, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of our microservices. Your expertise in web application development will be instrumental in driving our team forward and in further designing and improving the setup of our microservices.

Ability to guide architecture, design, development and operation discussions and decisions; familiarity with software design patternsKnowledge of Spring boot frameworkProven experience with Java, enabling you to effectively perform code reviews within the development teamProficiency in advanced Git workflows, code review processes, and branch managementUnderstanding CI/CD processesFamiliarity with containerization technologies like Docker, including orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (or alternatives)Familiarity with Content Delivery Networks (CDN), preferably AkamaiExperience with MS Azure (or equivalent)
