What you’ll do on a typical day:

Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, key users, and business process leads to analyze business problems and capture detailed requirements; reconcile conflicts. Facilitate meetings and workshops to define process requirements and system changes. Develop detailed user stories, work plans, deliverables, and definitions of overall approaches for Blue Yonder WMS initiatives. Write business specifications for new development and system enhancements. Configure systems to support business needs. Develop detailed user stories, work plans, deliverables, and definitions of overall approaches for Blue Yonder WMS initiatives. Write business specifications for new development and system enhancements. Configure systems to support new implementations. Partner with program and training/communication teams to ensure business readiness for organizational change and schedule impacted processes/systems changes Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to super users

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent related work or military experience 7 years of experience implementing and supporting Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Excellent planning, client support and organization skills Implementation and support experience with web-based applications, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and small parcel shipment systems Experience using SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting and reporting Expertise and experience in supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution Experience following formal project management practices Knowledge of formal systems development methodologies Availability to travel up to 25% of the time depending on project status and business needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating technical concepts and plans at all levels.

 

It’d be great if you also have:

Experience in any of the following: business analysis, systems analysis or business requirements gathering. Experience performing well under pressure in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
