You Are:

UST HealthProof is looking for a Principal Analyst, Operational Excellence. The Principal Analyst is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementation, and leading department assignments. This position operates within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of manpower and budget. This role researches, compiles, and analyses appropriate and relevant processes and/or data to identify opportunities to recommend and drive execution of process improvements in assigned business units to achieve targeted levels of improvement.

 

The Opportunity:

As an Operational Excellence Principal Analyst at UST HealthProof, this is your opportunity to:

·       Develop and deliver multiple concurrent projects/programs that encompass business process design and improvement

·       Support various initiatives in requirements definition, documentation of current and future state business capabilities, process development, process flows, training, and internal/external communications

·       Design performance feedback systems to assess the resolution of business process deficiencies and install appropriate controls

·       Support business teams to identify and deliver significant and quantifiable business improvements through the application of lean, six sigma, and/or other process improvement methodologies

·       Provides expertise in analytical methodology, including data analysis, used to facilitate data driven decision making, including the collection and monitoring of metrics used to assess, prioritize, and select improvement projects

·       Research industry best practices to use in measuring organization position

·       Initiates and leads problem solving efforts working closely with internal and external stakeholders

·       Leads in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues

·       Investigates, reviews, recommends, communicates, and implements solutions which identify problems/root cause of issues

·       Identifies and resolves challenges in order to fulfill key corporate objectives and responds to the demands of change management and initiates actions needed to plan, organize, and control team activities

·       Independently develops and plans reports, papers, and/or other materials in a clear and concise manner

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What You Need:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field; a master’s degree in a related field is preferred

·       Seven years of health plan operations experience

·       Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas

·       A proven ability to interpret and apply CMS policy updates, guidance memos, and regulatory requirements; expertise in conducting gap analyses between current operational practices and regulatory expectations

·       Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels

·       Formal training in Lean and Six Sigma performance improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification)

·       Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic and fast paced environment

·       Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional team meetings

·       Working knowledge of project management disciplines and methods

·       Excellent knowledge and use of existing software packages (Visio, Minitab, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

·       Ability to understand and apply statistical inference

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST HealthProof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:  $110,000-$125,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue up to 16 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses. Certain regular employees may have the potential for quarterly incentive-based bonuses and or commissions depending on role. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
