Job Description The Principal Aircraft Systems Engineer will lead and support the Aircraft Systems Engineering team by reviewing and issuing technical instructions that ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective aircraft operations. This role includes developing compliance plans for regulatory requirements, reviewing integration documents for new and existing aircraft, and maintaining accuracy in technical documentation. The engineer will collaborate with OEMs, MROs, regulatory agencies, and internal departments, while also mentoring junior staff and managing cross-functional projects. They’ll provide 24/7 technical support and act as the primary engineering contact for assigned fleets. Skills and Requirements 12+ years of experience as an Aircraft Systems Engineer Must come from an airline background Strong understanding of Aircraft Systems Landing Gear, Flight Control Systems, Cabin Control, Fuel Systems, etc. Experience reviewing, advising, and updating records including engineering orders and STCs (supplemental type certificate) A&P Certification Airline experience Bachelor’s Degree
