About The Job:
You will use your technical knowledge, leadership skills, industry expertise and trusted relationships at T-Mobile across multiple network projects. The Red Hat North America Telco team is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join us in Seattle WA. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor as Red Hat’s account technical leader, responsible for working with T-Mobile and other strategic partners as they build their next generation ORAN and Core networks, OSS/BSS modernization and virtualization migrations in IT. You will provide leadership across Red Hat’s technical teams including adoption and new projects. You will create solutions and advocate compelling recommendations to T-Mobile, guiding them to adopt our innovative open source technology. To achieve this, you’ll need passion for open source, extensive experience with Telco network architecture and strong leadership skills.
What You Will Do:
Represent Red Hat as a trusted advisor and chief architect across all T-Mobile functions and teams.
Build trusted relationships with T-Mobile’s technical leadership, key architects, and project leadership
Provide architecture recommendations for complex network solutions
Represent Red Hat with key project teams at T-Mobile, coordinating access to our Engineering and BU functions as needed.
Maintain deep understanding of customer environments and use cases and be the advocate for customer priorities across Red Hat technical functions
Sell the value of Red Hat technology and achieve technical closure across customers Technical Decision Points (TDP)
Provide technical account management
What You Will Bring:
12+ years of experience as a telco industry solutions architect with extensive mobile network experience
Relationships within T-Mobile and extensive understanding of T-Mobile’s network environments and strategic projects.
Past experience as in technical leadership role including lead architect, Account Technical Leader, or similar
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
The following is considered a plus:
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
Experience with Red Hat or competitive solutions, specifically container technology, automation, and active involvement in open source communities
Experience working in the Telco ecosystem
Experience calling on T-Mobile; relationships at T-Mobile
The salary range for this position is $207,500.00 - $342,400.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
