Launched in 2007, the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools’ mission is to transform schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education. The Partnership is a non-profit, in-District partner to LA Unified, not a charter network. As an independent nonprofit organization, the Partnership serves 13,550 students across 20 LA Unified schools in Watts, Boyle Heights and South Los Angeles. MSTMA is located on the iconic Roosevelt High School campus, home of the mighty Rough Riders in the heart of historic Boyle Heights. We serve 530 students, who have access to state-of-the-art athletics facilities, laboratories, exemplary teachers, and technology. MSTMA is focused on building school and family relationships, culturally responsive practices, and most importantly, student learning. In collaboration with families and community, our students experience an interdisciplinary and social justice-oriented Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math magnet program that is infused with Humanities courses to develop cultural awareness and social-emotional skills so students can flourish in their college, career, and post-secondary life. Requirements / Qualifications

LAUSD MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: All minimum requirements must be met on or before the filing deadline and must be in a public school setting. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that documentation of minimum requirements is on file with the LAUSD HR Administrative Selection Unit. For questions about submitting documentation, please contact (213) 241-6886. At least eight years of successful full-time public school certificated service, including: Minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in a K-12 public school program Minimum of two years of experience at a secondary school Two years of service in an administrative or supervisory position utilizing an administrative credential, such as an assistant principal or equivalent position A valid California Administrative Services Credential A valid California teaching credential requiring a Bachelor’s degree and a program of professional preparation, including student teaching Master’s degree from an accredited college or university Multicultural coursework (candidates have one year to complete after hire) District Master Plan requirements (candidates have one year to complete after hire) For all school-based administrative positions, candidates must be in the appropriate LAUSD eligible pool for the position or currently serving in the class for which they are applying. In order to be placed in the eligible pool, candidates must successfully complete the appropriate LAUSD Aspiring Administrator Program. Qualified applicants not in an eligible pool from within or outside LAUSD may be considered if fewer than five applicants from the eligible pool apply for the position.

The selected candidate will sign their contract with LAUSD. Using data to make informed decisions related to the instructional program and budget. Collaborating with stakeholders, including parents and community members or partners organizations, to maintain a learning environment that supports all students. Building trust with staff, students, and families on your campus. Please share if you are a Spanish speaker at the fluent or conversational levels. Current resume (include employee number, if a District employee) Upload a separate attachment that includes evidence of your current school's academic and other achievements for 2024-25. SBA, reclassification, iReady, student attendance, staff attendance, school experience survey, or other data are welcome.
