We are seeking a tenured Principal Product Manager with a deep technical background and a successful history of delivering high-impact, multi-organizational, and multi-year initiatives. This role is critical for driving the Premium Shopping Experience for Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Envision and define Premium shopping experiences, personalized to individual customer needs, that integrate seamlessly across the Amazon shopping journey.
- Work with a team of engineers, scientists, UX design and researchers, and program managers to define and execute a product roadmap that helps customers discover and be inspired by Premium products on Amazon.
- Drive roadmap to implement next generation visual experiences, utilizing the latest gen AI technology an inventing ways to improve online shopping beyond in store experiences.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints.
- Assimilate a large number of inputs from stakeholders, develop cohesive designs and functional specs, prioritize and deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
- Clearly communicate goals, requirements, roadmaps, and timelines to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
- Demonstrate maturity, sound business and technical judgement; ability to influence and leadership is essential to success in this role.
- Collaborate with many orgs and leaders across the entire retail organization to build the future of Premium shopping on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
