**Job Title:** Principal, Measurement
**The Role**
In this role, you will shape and safeguard standards across Pearson’s UK regulated qualifications portfolio. Acting as a subject matter expert in assessment, you’ll lead how we approach standard-setting, standards maintenance, and assessment validity - ensuring regulatory confidence and continuous improvement.
This is a high-impact, strategic role where you’ll partner with senior leaders, influence policy and practice, and strengthen internal capability in assessment expertise.

**What You’ll Own**
+ Building and delivering training that strengthens assessment and standards expertise across teams
+ Establishing and leading an internal standards function to monitor and advise on standards-related issues
+ Driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance assessment validity, compliance, and best practice
+ Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on regulatory requirements and qualifications reform
Success in this role means stronger organisational confidence in standards, clearer regulatory alignment, and enhanced quality across our qualifications.
**About You**
You bring deep expertise in assessment within the UK regulated qualifications context and experience working with regulatory frameworks and awarding processes.
You are:
+ Strategically minded and analytically strong
+ Confident influencing senior stakeholders
+ Experienced in designing and delivering assessment or standards training
+ Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives in complex environments
You combine technical credibility with the ability to translate regulation into clear, practical action.
