Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) in program planning to join our team supporting Skunkworks® located in Palmdale, CA, Fort Worth, TX, and Marietta, GA.

Basic Qualifications:
• 20 years or more of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity. Or 18 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI Security clearance
• US Citizen
• Competitive Proposal Experience
• Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across the program lifecycle, with expertise in creating development schedules
• Ability to analyze planning metrics and trends, and create action plans to drive improvement
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practical experience applying them to program
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management – identification, integration and mitigation
• Executive Briefing and Presentation Experience
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to shape mutually beneficial solutions aligning to scheduling and 1LMX principles
• Expert knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project Server, Open Plan, Primavera, and/or ProjectView
• Extensive experience with supplier integration, analyzing their performance, and providing corrective action recommendations
• Earned value management (EVM) Experience
• Baseline control expertise
• Expert knowledge of Critical Path Methodology
• Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
Desired Skills:
• Trainor or Teacher of key planning competencies (work planning, IMS creation and management, baseline control, schedule tools, schedule integration, schedule analysis)
• Experience with resource loaded schedules
• Tableau, JIRA, 3DX, XVE Experience
• Knowledge of DID 81861 - Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR)

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
