Base Pay Range:

$73,000 - $85,000

As a Pricing Strategy Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:

Pricing Analytics/Strategy

Analyze large datasets to uncover pricing opportunities and trends using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BIDesign, implement, and monitor pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitabilityConduct profitability and margin analyses to evaluate product and service performanceAssess market conditions to provide actionable insightsContinuously optimize pricing processes through automation and innovative approachesWork with predictive models to forecast pricing outcomes and customer behaviorDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate pricing insights to stakeholdersProvide data-driven insight—draw valid conclusions and make strategic recommendationsCommunicate findings through clear, visual presentations that can be easily consumed by team members and executives, making complex analyses understandable to technical and nontechnical stakeholdersProvide trustworthy guidance, fact-checking and advice for colleagues and project sponsorsShare knowledge and support colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment, contributing as an integral member of the teamCross functional collaboration with Program Management, Sales, Supplier Relations, and Inventory Management, and Finance teams to align pricing decisions with broader business strategies

Manage Datasets

Dive into data—utilize programming tools to cleanse, validate, and ensure the quality of structured and unstructured data setsApply transformation techniques (e.g., missing data, standardizing formats, detecting outliers, duplicate data) to move data from its raw form into clean, high-quality data tablesUse SQL and data APIs to interact with data stored in various systems from relational databases to file systemsCollect and curate data needed for research, from both internal and external sourcesCollaborate with Data Scientist and Data Solutions team members to achieve data-related goals.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Statistics or a related field2-4 years of experience of experience in analytics, pricing, financial analysis or other related business field.Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Familiarity with Groovy programming languageExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable business recommendationsFamiliarity with pricing theories and concepts, including elasticity and market segmentation.Familiarity with data analysis, pricing strategies, or financial modelingExceptional communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences
