The Business Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Sales / Business Development team by leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. This role involves conducting market research, performing cost and comparison analyses, and identifying therapy growth opportunities at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). The analyst creates data-driven insights and reports to enhance sales pitches, track performance against proformas, and support overall business growth. With a strong focus on analytics and collaboration, the role is essential for shaping proposals and optimizing revenue generation strategies.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data from external resources to support proposals and strategic decisionsMonitor market trends and provide actionable insights to optimize revenue generationConduct cost analysis leveraging both internal and external datasetsPerform comparison analyses between current client models/invoices and proposed sales offeringsProvide insights and reporting on business development metrics, including new business acquisition, churn analysis, and performance against budgetDevelop and deliver data-driven stories to enhance sales pitches and presentationsCollaborate with Business Development teams to refine proposals Create and maintain business development reportsMaintain Quote Sheet rates by regionSupport post-mortem analysis on new business actuals vs. proforma to track and measure bid accuracy on volume, mix, and profitabilityAttends all mandatory meetings, trainings, and assignments as delegatedMust conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all timesMust adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of ConductPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned
