Develops, maintains, and distributes relevant fee schedule level and account level pricing decisions. Evaluates, compiles and analyzes statistical data trends for feasibility and/or development that may impact LabCorp’s strategies that support business objectives.

Role and Activities

• Able to perform all Pricing Specialist functions with little to no guidance

• Maintains and distributes relevant information in support of customer/test level pricing decisions

• Retrieves, manipulates and understands data from multiple sources (LCLS, LCLS, CRM, Pricing Databases)

• Operates, understands and appropriately engages all pricing templates, pricing calculators, pricing systems approval processes required to calculate and implement approved pricing                                    

• Completes all projects, including any documentation for compliance                                                     

• Researches, investigates and supports resolution of pricing issues arising from customer inquiries

• Supports non-pricing functions within department as requested

• Analyzes relevant information in support of customer/test level pricing decisions

• Analyzes outputs from pricing templates, pricing calculators, pricing systems approval processes as necessary                                        

• Uses time management and multitasking skills to support multiple projects at the same time

• Facilitates knowledge to customers and subject matter experts through pricing comparison and analysis

• Coordinates requests across multiple test structures, and supports analysis of test cross references and pricing translations

• Prepare pre-defined documents/files of data for distribution either upon request or at pre-determined intervals

• Distribute or coordinate distribution of pre-defined documents/data either upon request or at pre-determined intervals

• Respond to or coordinate response to general inquires regarding company or customer specific price elements

• Understands and follows department processes and SOPs

• Distribute Fee schedules upon request or after price request changes

• Prepare price requests/analysis to route for approval including tracking of progress

• Creates price impact or other analysis in support of customer/business needs

• Process Account Setups, Pricing Requests and request for Account Maintenance

• Acts as Subject Matter Expert for Customer Master and associated Salesforce-related functions

•Support HPS GPO activity for the division

• Manages M4M process to support large SPRs (Special Price Requests); makes pricing suggestions based on the size/value of the client.

•Review pricing requests for accuracy, and edit when necessary

 •Serves as a liaison between CM and Contract department 

Required Experience

• Experience analyzing and triaging requests to team members; managing team or group communications 

•  Experience constructing Profit and Loss (P&L) Analysis helpful, but not required

• Demonstrative experience dealing with multiple internal departments to support audits and compliance activities

• Prior experience with assisting in creating and maintaining processes in customer master and pricing functions

• Proven ability to work across various departments and divisions on customer data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
