Our client is seeking a Pricing Analyst to work within their facilities located in Houston, for a 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension.

This position will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Job Responsibilities
May include, but are not limited to, the following:

Coordinate with Sales Management to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Develop and implement pricing strategies for products and services that align with business objectives and market conditions. Analyze sales data, financial metrics, and market research to identify pricing opportunities and risks. Prepare and analyze quotations for projects/bids while adhering to profitability guidelines and policies. Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies and market positioning. Develop pricing models and approval thresholds to forecast the impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and profitability. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing analysis and recommendations for senior management. Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product development teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals. Continuously monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics. Ensure pricing practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Utilize and manage pricing software and tools to support pricing decisions. Create and maintain key records in the ERP system. Education, experience and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, statistics or a related field. 1-3 years’ experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field. Proficiency in SAP ECC6 or S/4HANA. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software and familiarity with pricing software is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and build effective working relationships. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.
