Opportunity Consultant:

Opportunity Consultants help drive business outcomes by working hand in hand with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering and Business Unit to provide a cost optimized solution to allow the company to succeed in the marketplace. The Opportunity Consultant is also responsible for ensuring all costs are recognized once the product ships and working with GEO leads when discrepancies arise.

Job Objectives:

Establish comprehensive P&L review.  Including:Cost review with procurementBOM optimization with engineeringAlignment with services pricing strategy as appropriatePricing strategy approvalsDrive price changes as appropriate to stay within strategyProactively offer suggestions on how HPE could improve marginsAid, consult and assist the GEO finance and deal teams on established pricing marginsEnsure pricing deliverables are completed in accordance with customer deadlinesActively seek out opportunities for improvement in efficiency in pricing related processes

Desired Skills & Experience:

Affinity for numbers & strong financial modeling skillsStrong business acumen with the ability to understand pricing implicationsIntellectual curiosity to look for a good solution in order to get to the best oneDiplomacy & Tact: Strong interpersonal and communication skills requiredFlexible Tenacity: Ability to drive work to a completion, while remaining flexible to other ideasStrong Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Power Automate and MS CoPilot skillsMinimum 5+ years business operations, finance, sales operations, supply chain, procurement or pricing experience

The ideal candidate embraces new technologies and is familiar with tools like PowerBI, Power Automate, and Microsoft CoPilot.  This role will require the candidate to transform processes using these tools to enable faster decision making, improve KPI reporting, and automate deal tracking

Education:


Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, or Statistics. MBA Preferred.
