Aston Carter is hiring an Account Pricing Analyst! Job Description The Key Account Pricing Agent supports country pricing teams across the Americas by delivering high-quality customer pricing analysis and executing customized pricing solutions. This role enables informed commercial decision-making, safeguards pricing governance, and supports strategic key accounts through data-driven insights. The position requires strong analytical skills, deep pricing system expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in multiple countries. The Key Account Pricing Agent also acts as a subject matter expert and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the Key Account Pricing organization. Responsibilities + Assess customer pricing requests from country teams, ensuring completeness and accuracy of input data and alignment with defined pricing strategies. + Extract and analyze existing customer business data to understand current performance and identify pricing opportunities. + Simulate entire customer portfolios using current and potential volumes to evaluate pricing scenarios and commercial impact. + Prepare comprehensive Customer Pricing Reports, including pricing recommendations, GRE comments, opportunity snapshots, and detailed analysis by product, lane, and weight break. + Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records for all pricing decisions and activities. + Track and report key performance indicators such as volume of requests, turnaround time (TAT), and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). + Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and workshops to enhance pricing processes, tools, and governance. + Create and maintain Non-Standard Rate Cards (Custom RATEs) in GRE and other relevant pricing systems. + Translate country pricing strategies into compliant target prices that align with governance and profitability requirements. + Ensure adherence to minimum pricing thresholds, discounting rules, and GPP guidelines in all pricing activities. + Identify and deactivate outdated or obsolete custom rates to maintain data quality and system accuracy. + Support pricing system escalations by investigating issues and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve them. + Execute annual and off-cycle General Pricing Increases, ensuring accurate implementation and communication within pricing systems. + Support Tender Review Board cases, including the preparation of OARs and related pricing documentation. + Balance workload across the Key Account Pricing team to help ensure timely completion of requests and consistent service levels. + Perform data quality reviews and cleansing activities to improve the reliability of pricing and customer data. + Participate in business and regional meetings to share insights, align on pricing strategies, and support decision-making. + Act as a Subject Matter Expert for pricing systems and processes, providing guidance and support to stakeholders. + Support system testing initiatives related to pricing tools, enhancements, and new functionalities. + Review and analyze monthly KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for further improvement in pricing performance. Essential Skills + Strong experience conducting customer-level pricing analysis across products, lanes, and weight breaks. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets, pricing simulations, and complex analyses. + Ability to create and manage customized or non-standard rate cards in pricing systems such as GRE. + Solid understanding of pricing governance, including minimum price thresholds, discounting rules, and GPP guidelines. + Experience supporting pricing approvals, escalations, and tender review processes. + Outstanding analytical skills combined with a strong business perspective.. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Master’s degree or MBA with an analytical or business focus is highly desirable. + Prior exposure to logistics, express, or transportation pricing environments. + Experience supporting General Pricing Increases, both annual and off-cycle. + Familiarity with Tender Review Boards, OARs, or structured bid governance frameworks. + Exposure to related functions such as CMF, Billing, Products and Marketing, or EKAD. + General knowledge of processes, products, and systems landscape in a large, international organization. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role from Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour workday scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The position operates in a collaborative team environment that encourages cross-functional interaction and knowledge sharing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plantation, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
