Many of our top mechanics started in this very role! 🔧 **Key Responsibilities:** + Performpreventative maintenanceon garbage trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment + Usefleet maintenance softwareto manage service records + Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant shop + Collaborate with drivers to identify and resolve vehicle issues + Complete repairs based on DriverVehicle InspectionReports (DVIRs) ✅ **Qualifications:** + At least two years of hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance in a professional environment + Background in commercial vehicle or diesel engine maintenance is highly desirable + Must hold a valid driver’s license + Required to have a personal set of basic tools and a toolbox + Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software for troubleshooting and maintenance + Brings a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role **Safety-Sensitive Role** This position is classified as **safety-sensitive** , which means it involves duties where impaired performance could pose a significant risk to the safety of the employee or others.
