We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient presser to join our laundry team in Cairo, Egypt. As a presser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments and linens are properly pressed and finished to meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain pressing equipment, including irons, presses, and steamers Inspect garments for stains, damages, or imperfections before and after pressing Press a variety of fabrics and garment types according to specific care instructions Fold, hang, and package pressed items for customer pickup or delivery Maintain a clean and organized work area Meet daily production quotas while ensuring quality standards are met Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times Qualifications Proficiency in operating pressing equipment, including irons, presses, and steamers Knowledge of various fabric types and their specific care requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent time management skills and ability to meet production targets Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Previous experience in laundry or dry cleaning services preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed Basic English language skills for understanding care labels and instructions Additional informationOur commitment to diversity & inclusion:
