WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, you will:

\n\nCarry out driving and delivering cars and small vans (3.5 Tonne) from the Milton Keynes site to customer locations/houses\nProvision of first class safe, efficient and customer focused delivery and collection services with DHL's customers and Networks\nConduct collections and deliveries in accordance with the plan and/or instructions from the customer\nEnsure all delivery documentation and electronic POD's are completed accurately and in real time\nTo route plan your journey's, including use of public transport (if required) to get back to site or key to key service\nComply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations\nTo conduct a full and thorough pre-shift inspection (OPS13) of vehicles and trailers in advance of their operation and to comply with the DHL defect reporting process, ensuring all defective vehicles, trailers and equipment are reported immediately\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nYou will need to hold a clean valid Car Driving License (B) , with at least 3 years of actual driving experience. \nBe over the age of 25 (due to insurance purposes)\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nStrong time management\nAble to utilise public transport as and when needed\nWorking understanding of legal requirements, highway code and road traffic act\nExperience within the industry preferred but not essential as full training will be given\nAbility to follow operational, legal and H&S procedures\n\n
