**Job description**
Operates and processes parts in a press.
Reports any part or process deficiencies to supervisor.
Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
Safely loads and unloads molds from press.
Properly maintains and identifies defects in molds and report any findings to supervisor.
Lays up (builds) parts using primarily phenolic impregnated glass, and film adhesives.
Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
General Notes:
Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products.
As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
**Candidate skills & requirements**
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 1 year stable employment history preferred. Previous Press Operator or equivalent experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Aerospace experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic ability with Microsoft products.
Other Skills: Ability to read engineering blue prints is desirable.
