Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Operator with hands-on experience operating a wide range of punch presses in a manufacturing environment in Oceanside, Ca. 

 

As a Production Operator/Punch Press Operator you will:

 

Proficient in operating all sizes and types of punch presses

Skilled in SPC procedures and using quality check sheets for in-process inspection

Experienced in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools

Accurately documents daily production output and adheres to good documentation practices

Selects and identifies appropriate raw materials for each job

Performs secondary production tasks such as deburring, sanding, and packaging

Consistently meets or exceeds production quantity expectations

Maintains a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards

Communicates effectively with supervisors regarding production-related issues

Able to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision

 

This is a full-time opportunity

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

Experience using calipers to accurately measure parts

Ability to read and write in English (required for documentation and safety compliance)

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Availability to work Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Must be able to pass customer-specific hiring criteria (details provided during screening)

Reliable and detail oriented

 

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
