Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Operator B (1st SHIFT) to join their dedicated team. As an Operator B (1st SHIFT), you will be an integral part of the production department supporting various manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title:** Operator B (1st SHIFT) **Location:** O'Fallon, MO **Pay Range:** $17 **Shift:** 6 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday **What's the Job?** + Produce parts to specification as a resistance/robotic welder, hand loaded press operator, inspection/packaging, and/or press helper. + Follow all safety procedures and plant rules to maintain a safe work environment. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety. + Ensure the availability of required parts and materials for production. + Perform basic measurements and monitoring using calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1-3 months of related experience or training. + Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to understand written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions. + Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. + Chance to develop skills in welding, press operation, and inspection. + Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality. + Consistent work schedule with predictable hours. + Potential for future growth within the organization.
