Press Brake Operator

Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm 

 $20–22/hr DOE

 Are you a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and experience in metal fabrication? A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. This position involves operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components and offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components per blueprints or job orders Select proper tooling and machine settings for each job Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools and gauges Perform routine maintenance and ensure the equipment is in safe operating condition Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols Work with the production team to meet schedules and minimize downtime

 Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in press brake operation or metal fabrication Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Experience with CNC press brake programming (preferred) Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (preferred)- Welding or other metal fabrication skills (preferred)
