Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Press Brake Machine Set Up Operators for our growing team. We have openings for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training available on 1st or 2nd shift. Current shift times are as follows: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Future shift times will be 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities

Set up line tools by positioning, aligning, and securing dies to the press bed or bolster plate, and the upper section to the ram.Ensure the proper operation of safety devices.Synchronize automatic material feed for dimensional accuracy and press ram action, and load materials on reels or in bins.Operate press to produce pilot pieces for inspection of hole size, dimensions, contours, and shape.Use and interpret scales, squares, check fixtures, calipers, micrometers, patterns, and samples to set up presses and perform SPC.Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain housekeeping of work areas.Pack items produced into cartons or containers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
