**Job Title:** Press Assistant – 1st Shift (Flexographic Printing)
**Pay:** $20–$23/hour
**Location:** Milwaukee, WI
**Schedule:** 1st Shift, Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
**About the Role**
We are hiring a **Press Assistant** to support flexographic printing operations on 1st shift. This role is ideal for candidates with **previous experience working with flexographic presses** who are looking to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. As a Press Assistant, you’ll work alongside Press Operators to ensure smooth setup, production, and quality output.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of **flexographic printing presses** .
+ Load and unload rolls of material, inks, and supplies.
+ Perform quality checks to ensure print accuracy, color consistency, and registration.
+ Keep press area clean, organized, and stocked with materials.
+ Troubleshoot and assist in minor adjustments during production runs.
+ Work closely with Press Operators and production staff to meet schedules and quality standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in a **flexographic printing environment** required.
+ Familiarity with press operation, inks, and materials handling.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
