**Job Description:** Presort Associate 3 **_Based on the certification programs you are completing (Lead or Full-Time Trainer), you will be trained to:_** Join our team and earn $ 22 per hour! Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 3 in our Phoenix Facility. 3rd shift Hours – Monday night to Saturday morning, 10pm to 6am. Shift Differential $1.50/hr additional for 3rd shift **_You Are:_** **_An individual who enjoys a fast paced, physical production environment while developing new skills in the mailing industry. You are a hard-working and vital contributor to our company’s success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings._** **_Lead:_** + _Assure the accurate and timely processing of the mail run on the MLOCR Equipment_ + _Assign workers to the appropriate equipment and job duties_ + _Set up machines. Verify quality of sorted mail using QMS procedures_ + _Assist in preparation of USPS and Production reporting as required_ + _Assist with a variety of warehouse tasks including but not limited to presorting and machine operating as needed_ + _Responsible for overseeing production workers in designated areas_ + _Direct production and personnel issues to Supervisor in a timely manner_ + _Oversee quality in assigned area. Assure QMS processes and procedures are followed at all times_ + _Follow-up to assure processing proceeds at the pace needed to meet postal deadlines_ + _Offer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, motivation of employees_ + _Keep down time to a minimum, assist in meeting and/or exceeding site PFPLH metric_ + _Remain informed of Acceptance Times and when trucks must leave. Assure mail is prepared to hit these times_ + _Assist Customer Service team and Operations team to communicate and resolve mail quality issues_ **_Trainer:_** + _Train new employees in job functions, policies, assigns designated individuals to complete the training_ + _Conduct classroom Orientation Program training for contingent and new employees (Day 1 Orientation and Introduction to Presort)_ + _Lead classroom training of PB Employees in Certification programs as scheduled_ + _Coordinate various employee engagement initiatives and activities_ + _Work with and Support site PAL’s with on-the-job training_ + _Coordinate with Management and PAL’s to identify opportunities for future training and assist Presort Academy Program Director with building training as required_ + _Answer employee questions during training and direct employees to the right area/individual based on their needs_ + _Provide feedback and reporting to Management regarding employee training status_ **_General:_** + _Must possess and maintain current certifications as outlined for Presort Academy. Additional certification training may be required as current training is updated and new training is developed_ + _Demonstrate safety and security precautions and follows company policies_ + _Perform all additional duties as required_ **_Your Background:_** + _Preferably PB employees with a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience_ + _Skilled and knowledgeable across all areas of a Presort Operation_ + _Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and USPS postal regulations_ + _Ability to prepare reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and employees_ + _Ability to proficiently speak and understand English. Ability to speak and understand other languages a plus_ + _Effective communications and interpersonal skills_ + _Ability to lead and engage/interact with large groups of employees_ + _Ability to calculate and prepare various reports regarding volumes, rejects and other pertinent data_ + _Solid understanding of use of Windows environment to set up production runs_ + _Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished orally or in writing_ + _Ability to solve basic problems that arise in the production environment_ + _Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop and bend up to 80% of the time_ + _Required to lift up to 50 lbs._ + _Dependable and reliable_ + _Knowledge of the pre-sort mailing business is a plus_ + _The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice_ **_Our Team:_** _Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®.
