About the Role:

Reporting to the EMEA Regional PreSales Manager, the PreSales Solution Consultant, will serve as a counsellor and trusted advisor to customers and a technical support partner to the regional Sales Account Managers, providing technical and solution expertise, knowhow, advice, and guidance throughout the sales cycle. This role is vital in enabling Esko’s customers to realize the maximum value and benefit from our software solutions.

This position is part of the Esko Global PreSales function and will be hybrid/remoter.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

The PreSales Solution Consultant will partner with the regional Sales Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives for the France and EMEA region to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Commercial Support: Provide overall technical sales & solution definition support to the regional Sales Account Managers and Inside Sales representatives with the goal of increasing Esko’s Supplier Software solutions sales throughout the France and EMEA region.

Technical Competence: Develop a thorough understanding of Esko’s Supplier software suite and technologies, including prepress, workflow automation, and quality assurance tools tailored for the packaging supply chain.

Solution Expertise: Provide subject and solution expertise with the Esko product suite (focusing on Printers, Convertors, Tradeshops, PreMedia agencies, Diemakers and POS/POP agencies).

Customer Engagement: Engage with existing and potential customers to showcase the value of Esko’s software solutions to help customer unlock value and generate operational efficiencies.

Solution Demonstration: Create and deliver customized presentations and demonstrations of Esko Supplier solutions which align to customer requirements and/or industry segment needs.

Solution Scoping: Create solution-design and SOW (Statement of work) proposals which include scope, assumptions, use cases, solution architecture, and high-level implementation plans.

Industry Representation: Serve as an Esko ambassador at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, promoting our solutions and sharing expertise with the broader community.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Consultative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand customer needs, lead scoping workshops, and create Statements of Work (SOW) that deliver measurable value. 

Technical & Industry Expertise: Solid grasp of packaging artwork and print processes, with the ability to learn new software quickly. 

A degree in the field of Graphics Arts, or Printing, plus experience in the packaging supply chain industry, or the equivalent in knowledge and experience. 

Esko Software Knowledge: Experience or subject matter expertise in Esko’s Supplier Software solutions is a plus. Packaging PrePress (ArtPro+, Deskpack, Studio), Structural design software (ArtiosCAD, Cape), Workflow Automation (Automation Engine), Project Management and Collaboration (WebCenter), etc. 

Customer-Focused & Communicative: Strong commitment to customer success, with excellent presentation and demo skills, and fluency in French and English. 

Adaptability & Mobility: Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is willing to travel up to 25% across the region to support clients and commercial teams.
