Job Profile:

The Pre-Sales consultant works closely with the regional Sales teams to act as a technical expert on data and application security projects with partners and customers. The Pre-sales consultant will work with a market-leading portfolio of Application and Data Security products, including CipherTrust Manager, High-Speed Encryption, Data Security Fabric, WAF, and API security CSP solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales team to respond to the needs of our partners and customers for our solutions.Experience with Cloud Security, DevOps security, Key Management, and WAF Solutions is a significant benefit. We're happy to help you familiarize yourself with our products and provide you with all the knowledge and training you need for your day-to-day work.Work closely with our prospects to gather information on their use cases, application environments, and data flows, to fully understand their needs. Once the customer's environments and requirements are identified.Actively involved in the sales engagements, assist with the solution demo and proof-of-concept phase as needed, we often need assistance and advice on configuration or customization to meet the prospects' needs with our very flexible solutions, so you'll need to be hands-on.Interface with hundreds of third-party applications and solutions, and undoubtedly encounter many applications, integrations, features, and APIs that need to be familiarized.The position is based in Dubai, UAE. we expect the candidate to travel approximately 25% of the time in the Middle East; however, most of the work will be in Dubai, which will involve visiting customers locally.The job is half about the soft skills and half about the technical skills, so the candidate needs to have both. Application security, including WAF, DDoS, API security, and AntiBot management, underpins everything we do, so the more you understand these concepts, the better.This position is both exciting and challenging. The role suits someone keen to learn and interested in technology; the ability and desire to 'learn something new' will help.

Qualification Requirements:

Experience:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years of experience in network security, development, pre-sales engineering, or real-world use of web application solutions; preferably with 5+ years of these as a sales engineer and experience working in a start-up and vendor environmentMust have excellent listening, presentation, demonstration, written, and oral communication skillsMust be practised in value-based or consultative sales methodologies (ie, Customer Centric Selling, Command of the Message, MEDDIC, SPIN, Value Selling, etc.)

Requirements:

Possess a solid understanding of web applications, security, and auditing environmentsKnowledge in application development (ASP, .NET, PHP, JSP, NodeJS, Python)Knowledge in scripting (Python, Bash)Knowledge about APIs, REST, SOAPKnowledge of the DNS protocol and service – an advantageExperience with LinuxDeep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewallsKnowledge of advanced internet route selection and/or tunnelling protocols (BGP, GRE, etc) - an advantageKnowledge in SSL, TLS, cryptography and certificatesKnowledge about containers, Kubernetes and service mesh – a significant advantageExperience working with public cloud solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Cloud Certifications from ISC2(CCSP), AWS, Azure, or GCP – a significant advantageCompliance standards knowledge (PCI, SOX, HIPAA) – an advantageAble to effectively present technical material to small and large groupsExperience with Network or Application Firewalls and/or IDS/IPS - an advantageExcellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills.Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skillsExperience with automation, scripting and/or using RegEx - an advantageOn top of the local language, English fluency is required.
