The role We are thrilled to announce an opportunity as: Pre-Sales Consultant - Microsoft Data & AI SoftwareOne Scope: Full-time | Work Model: Hybrid | Location: Mexico City In this role your focus will be selling the SoftwareOne Solutions & Services - Microsoft Data & AI, and is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to growing, landing & expanding the aligned customer journey with current & new logo accounts. The Pre-Sales Consultant leads customer engagements in the country and supports account managers with account planning using customer propensity data & intelligence. Also, serves as the liaison between the assigned Account Manager (AM) and technical pre-sales team and customers for new Solution & Services opportunities, supporting effective & efficient handover into delivery & customer success resources. Core Accountabilities: Collaborate with customers, partners, and team members to understand business objectives and translate them into data and AI solution designs. Architect and design end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization components. Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to drive insights and decision-making. Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure Data and AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and high-performing. Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to support Data and AI initiatives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Data Architecture and AI standard methodologies. Work closely with multi-functional teams, such as software developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of data and AI projects. What we need to see from you While the skills below are important, we encourage candidates with a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences to apply. Solid proven experience as Pre-Sales Consultant. Proficiency in Azure Data and AI Portfolio, including experience with Data Warehouses and Datalakes. Established relationships with Microsoft, AWS, and Google. Experience in software development for Cloud Platforms, with a focus on API and application integration architectures. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, as well as data integration, automation, and monitoring. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Desirable Qualifications: Certifications in Cloud, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R. Familiarity with data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Familiarity with containers and basic infrastructure knowledge. Proficiency in consuming services from Azure and working with cloud cost calculators. Soft skills: Problem-solving ability. High collaboration/partnership. Continuous learning orientation.
