Responsibilities:
Prep Cook responsibilities include:Prep Work: You will prep lots of different kinds of food. This means you will chop vegetables, slice fruits, peel potatoes, and dice onions. You will wash all the fresh ingredients and make sure they are ready to be used. You will also weigh and portion ingredients to ensure accurate quantities for recipes.Kitchen Tasks: You will help with other kitchen prep! You might shred cheese, chop herbs, portion out meat, and make sure everything is ready to go. You will learn to use different kitchen equipment and tools like spatulas, knives, and cutting boards safely.Food Safety: You will learn how to keep food safe and the kitchen clean. You'll make sure all the dishes are washed and everything is put away in the right spot. A clean kitchen is a safe kitchen, and you will help us keep it spotless.Teamwork: You will work very closely with the other cooks and chefs. The kitchen is a team sport, and everyone helps each other to make the best meals. You'll help organize the pantry and the refrigerators to make sure all the ingredients are easy to find for the team.Education: No formal education required.
