In addition to showing courtesy, compassion, and respect to all individuals, you will also exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you! + You will assure all lab work, EKG, and x-rays are obtained, and initiate the PAT Protocol + Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner + As a PAT RN, organizing/prioritizing pre-operative teaching for a routine day in the preadmissions area is a key responsibility + You must function in an organized and time conscious manner + You will initiate/document preoperative and discharge planning and patient teaching involving patient/significant other Requirements + Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) + Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license + Current BLS certification + Must have at least 2 years of surgical services hospital experience Established in 1974, Henrico Doctors' Hospital is a 340-bed community hospital offering cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, physical therapy, women's services and a 24/7 emergency department.
