Job Description

To support customers’ success with Agilent LCMS hardware, software and solutions we are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented and customer centric person to join our LCMS Presale Application Engineer team.  This role will support the sales process by providing application support, developing solution, demonstrating LC-MS instrumentation and workflows to our customer in China west Region, and addressing the needs of our customers in the LCMS relevant application.

Responsibilities:

Provide LCMS relevant pre/post-sales application support.

Conduct product demonstrations and applications-focused training & assay optimization.

Develop effective analytical solution while keeping abreast of current assays/workflows as well as emerging applications.

Deliver presentation on conference, seminar, and workshop externally, and conduct training internally.

Work with cross-function teams to provide the customer lifetime value solution with industry insights.

Qualifications

Master’s degree (> 5 years of industry experience) or Ph.D. (> 3 years of industry experience) major in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, food & environmental analysis, biochemistry, or related scientific field.

Expertise in LCMS techniques, workflows and solutions especially on triple quadrupole and high resolution Mass spectrometry, familiar with unknow screening, structure elucidation and newest analytical trends in these LCMS application field.

Strong technique insights and sector expertise in analysis chemical are advantageous.

Proactive, collaborative, and passionate on lab work.

Enthusiasm on keeping learning, excellent communication and willing to share.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including comfort with public speaking, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Must be willing to travel ~50% domestically. Location is Chengdu.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
