Job DescriptionIn this context, you’ll be joining as Presales, and reporting to the Sales Lead. As Presales, you will also assist cross-departments such as Marketing and Sales teams. Presales will design and conceptualise solutions based on Google products to help our customers, prepare Google Cloud Platform and Professional Services pricing implementation, plan a development and production strategy, and many more to support the Sales and Marketing team.
The Pre-Sales will be responsible for the following activities:
Understand customer needs: Presales work closely with potential customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and IT infrastructure. This involves conducting interviews, reviewing existing documentation, and analyzing customer data.Identify GCP solutions: Once you have a good understanding of the customer's needs, Presales identify the GCP products and services that can best address those needs. This involves considering the customer's budget, timeline, and technical requirements.Develop solution architecture: Presales then develop a solution architecture that leverages the identified GCP products and services to create a comprehensive solution for the customer. This involves considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.Create a business case: Presales develop a compelling business case that demonstrates the value of adopting GCP solutions to the customer. This involves quantifying the benefits of GCP, such as cost savings, increased productivity, and improved agility.Present solutions to customers: Presales effectively present their proposed solution to potential customers, using clear and concise language that resonates with their business needs. They also answer any technical questions that the customer may have.Negotiate contracts: Presales participate in contract negotiations with potential customers, ensuring that the terms and conditions are aligned with both parties' needs.Staying up-to-date on the latest GCP products and services.Developing and delivering technical demos and presentations.Creating and managing customer proposals and quotes.Training and mentoring other Presales GCP professionals.QualificationsExperience in technical presales and solution architecture.Strong understanding of GCP products, services, and pricing.Ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant terms.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong customer focus.Additional requirements:
Experience with a specific industry or vertical.Experience with a specific GCP product or service.Have at least one certification, such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Engineer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Machine Engineer, etc.Experience with a specific programming language or development tool.Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong understanding of cloud computing and GCP products and services.Two professional certifications in GCP (within 3 months of joining).Status: Full-Time
