If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:The Specimen Management Associate supports the receipt, handling, storage, and shipment of clinical specimens while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.What You'll Be Doing:Assist with the receipt of consignments and shipments of clinical specimensOpen shipments and perform quality checks of patient information forms, escalating issues as neededEnsure specimens are removed from kit packaging by completing secondary checks of shipping materialsPrepare specimens for long-term storage, client shipment, or sample dispositionDispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies according to proceduresSupport after-hour alarms and other job-critical functions as requiredAssist with equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and workstation organizationWhat We Are Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent education requiredExperience handling clinical specimens, laboratory samples, or regulated materials in a controlled environmentAbility to follow standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory guidelinesOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing or incorrect documentationEffective communication skills and ability to escalate issues appropriatelyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
