Located at 195 Worcester Street Wellesley, MA, our Internal Medicine/Adult Primary Care practice delivers a full range of preventive and health maintenance care. We not only treat a range of acute and chronic health problems, but we also coordinate our patients’ care when they need treatment by specialists.
Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Practice Operations Coordinator to support the practice on-site Monday through Friday 8:30 am-5:00pm.As the only Practice Operations Coordinator for this location, this role is a unique opportunity to work autonomously as the epicenter of the department while also collaborating with various members of the multidisciplinary team. The role is a mix of leading the front desk team as well as assisting with the front desk duties when needed to support the team.
Responsibilities will include:
Coordinates day-to-day performance of administrative and clinical support staff. (Oversees the day-to-day practice operations). Mentors any temporary administrative staff or interns who are engaged to assist the practice. Provide feedback to practice manager for staff evaluations.
Acts as the primary escalation point for all practice staff with questions or concerns relative to operations and provides feedback/escalate to manager.
Collaborates with front end and clinical support teams to provide support and assist in the resolution of patient/ customer service issues.
In conjunction Practice Manager monitors and resolves patient billing issues.
Assists physician staff with calendar management, and special projects to support practice goals and meet hospital revenue, compliance and patient satisfaction related topics.
Identifies, monitors, and resolves IS issues which impact the practice’s operations. Participates in the evaluation of IS equipment and systems. Submits IT requests for equipment and network issues.
Qualifications
