Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team at The Heart Group in Maryville, Edwardsville, IL, and Florissant, Missouri!

 

We're looking for a dedicated individual to support three high-volume practices, comprising 8 doctors and 5 nurse practitioners. In this role, you'll oversee Lead Medical Assistants, Patient Service Representatives, LPNs, and RNs, while also handling budget management, staffing, and addressing patient concerns.

 

The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple offices with strong communication skills and adaptability.

 

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Supervise and mentor various health care professionals

- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and patient-related issues

 

**Requirements: **

- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple medical offices

- Strong communication and flexibility skills

 

**Schedule: **

- Flexible days to accommodate business and practice requirements

- Minimum of 1 day per week at each office

- On-call duties included

Role Purpose

The Practice Manager is assigned to an ambulatory site working under the guidance of a Practice Administrator and is responsible for the day-to-day clinic operations. Responsibilities include: direct supervision of approximately 15-25 clinical and non-clinical staff, managing patient experience and supporting/coordinating financial and administrative activities as assigned.

 

Responsibilities

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.Respond to patient complaints and engages in service recovery; analyzes and determines necessity to elevate the complaint based on situation, monitors patient satisfaction metrics and takes action as needed to ensure operational success.Leads and collaborates with staff to ensure a cohesive work environment in support of highly engaged and productive workforce. Address employee relations concerns and escalate issues as appropriate.Leads and participates in daily huddles and rounding for facilitation of patient flow to ensure patient, employee and provider satisfaction. Monitors and ensures adherence to department standard work and procedures. Available for immediate and timely response to barriers or obstacles to daily workflows. Escalates issues as appropriate via established processes to ensure timely resolution.
