**Practice Manager - Anesthesiology**

**What you will do:**
The Manager of Physician Practice is responsible for the efficient daily operations of assigned offices. Reporting to the Practice Administrator, is responsible for hiring and supervising support staff, oversees day- to -day practice operations including maintenance of medical records, human resource management, property and facilities, equipment, billing and adheres to OSHA, JCAHO and DOH requirements. The Manager of Physician Practice will perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the St. Peter’s Health Partner’s Core Values.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and ongoing monitoring of administrative and clinical systems, which support patient care.
+ Facilitates collegial relationships between care teams.
+ Assumes responsibility for the management of human, fiscal, material, and facility resources.
+ Support, plan, implement and evaluate program goals, the policies of St. Peter’s Health Care Services and patient focused care.
Anesthesia Staffing & Scheduling
+ Work closely with Chief of Anesthesia to create the monthly staffing schedule ensuring full coverage of all anesthetizing sites, and skill sets match assignments
+ Creation of providers schedule; strategizing and flexing staff to provider full coverage of the service to reduce and prevent locums utilization.
+ Coordinate and communicate schedule changes to physicians, managers and administration.
+ Maintain on-call schedule and ensure all ancillary departments have up to date on call information for emergent after-hours procedures
Anesthesia Revenue Cycle Management
+ Work closely with the medical staff credentialing & payer credentialing departments to ensure timely submission of applications and documents.
+ Work closely with Revenue Integrity to review Anesthesia billing and chart errors and ensure corrections are complete timely
+ Facilitate monthly meetings with billing company to ensure KPIs are achieved, and assist with any internal barriers to billing & collections
**What you will need:**
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in the medical field.
+ Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organization.
+ Effective speaking and writing skills.
+ Commitment to confidentiality and respect.
+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
+ Understand and embrace a customer service focus.
+ Ability to work independently, yet function collaboratively within a team
**Education:**
+ Associates degree required.
+ Ability to lift 20 lbs.
**Pay Range** : $31.50 - $45.70
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”
