We are now seeking a dynamic Practice Director – Primary Care to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced people and business leader who wants to make a meaningful impact across clinical standards, client care, financial performance, and team development. **Roles and Responsibilities** As Practice Director, you will: + Lead the operational and financial performance of your practice in partnership with the Lead Vet and central support teams. + Must have experience in holding full P&L accountability to drive change and performance through a people and customer centric lens + Drive excellence in patient and client care, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and wellbeing. + Provide strategic leadership, guiding your Senior Leadership Team (Lead Vet, Clinical Nursing Manager/Practice Manager). + Oversee all key business areas including leadership, HR, operations, health & safety, client care, and marketing. + Collaborate with central partners (Finance, HR, Marketing, Clinical Leadership) to deliver practice strategy and performance. + Inspire, coach, and develop teams to achieve their full potential. **About You** We’re looking for a leader who combines strong business acumen with a genuine passion for veterinary care. Essential skills & experience: + Proven leadership and management experience. + Strong financial awareness, including budget management. + Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing others. + Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. + A commitment to clinical quality and client experience.
