About the Role:

The Litigation/AI Practice Area Specialist position serves as a deep subject matter expert for LexisNexis products, solutions and content. The Practice Area Specialists represents LexisNexis in high-profile, public-speaking and customer meetings. In this role, you will drive usage, preference and awareness of LexisNexis practice specific products and content, collect customer and market feedback and uncover leads and opportunities to help drive revenue and POS in Large Law and Law Schools, and inform product development/roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

Assist and lead sales teams to overcome significant customer challenges and effectively position them to close significant opportunities

Proactively and aggressively take action to increase awareness and drive usage and preference of LN content, products and services

Identify and target revenue and growth opportunities within assigned market and/or accounts

Demonstrate deep product, content and practice area knowledge

Act as internal resource/liaison for sales, marketing, segment and product teams

Prepare and deliver specialized customer presentations to drive usage, communicate our value proposition and competitive differentiators

Conduct competitive research, analysis of findings and share information with  product, segment and marketing

Develop, build, and deliver content and practice area specific collateral and presentations both internally and customer facing

Requirements:

Have a Juris Doctorate 

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills 

Prior sales experience preferred

Able to work as part of a team, and across multiple teams, accomplishing mutual team goals 

Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge 

Able to proactively create and execute plans and strategic opportunities

Able to work with agility, flexibility, and own and execute on plans
