Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Completes medical histories for Addictive Disordered Services. + Performs routine nursing procedures such as administering injections. + Preparations of Behavioral Health clients are scheduled to see the physician for the day. + Ensure correct labs are available. + Performs weights, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, client medical history and family medical history. + Obtain list of allergies and current list of physical medications are assessed and documented in the client record. + Completes paperwork in accordance with clinic requirements. + Consults with RN regarding any significant or questionable findings. + Request medical records for prescribers. + Provides correspondence to community providers for coordination of care. + Provides crisis assessment if no other professional is available. + Completes discharge summaries.
