We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care . As an LPN, you will be playing a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, and overall support for patients with diverse medical needs. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Triage existing clients for ongoing medical needs and referrals. + Schedules appointments for follow up medical attention as deemed by physician and or requested by the client. + Provides emergency nursing care to clients seeking or requiring access to medical treatment. + Observes client behavior for mental and physical well-being. + Predicts/determines psychotic behavior and takes appropriate action regarding notifying Doctor and Nursing Director. + Intervenes appropriately and responds to deteriorating medical or psychiatric condition of client in a timely manner. + Processes admissions, transfers and, discharges. + Conducts and documents in EHR the psychosocial and physical screening of client and / or family. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational or Job Appointment. Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Practical Nurse Licensed 1, 2, or 3. **Note regarding the advertised pay range: The advertised maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire. Work Schedule: 12-hours Night Shift with rotating weekend. Location: Capital Area Recovery Program (CARP),a 24-hour substance abuse facility. Requirement: This position requires the incumbent to drive as part of his/her regular job duties. Incumbent must possess a valid driver's license upon hire.
