Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – California Community Schools Program
Location: Various school sites across Los Banos, California
Reports To: Program Director or Designee
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: August 2025
The California Community Schools Program is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide comprehensive mental health services to students and families. This role is integral to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary provider of mental health services at assigned school sites. Conduct assessments, provide diagnoses (if qualified), and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct services including individual, group, and family counseling. Participate in school and district crisis response teams. Collaborate with families, school staff, and community agencies to coordinate care. Support systems for identifying students in need of mental health interventions. Monitor at-risk students and ensure follow-through on referrals. Provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mindfulness training. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with program and billing standards. Advocate for students in IEP meetings and other educational planning sessions. Offer parenting support and connect families to community resources. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
