The Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) provides resourceful chemistry solutions for the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, diagnostic, detection, electronic, fuel cell, paints and coatings market. This team supports global customers from research and development through to manufacturing. The LCD organization is supported by more than 1400 employees globally across 7 locations. LCD is organized into two distinct business units that focus on delivering reagents to support chemical synthesis (Fine Chemical Products Business Unit) and chemical analysis and purification (Laboratory Analytical Reagents Business Unit).
What will you do?
The PPI Business Systems Leader supports the development and implementation of a PPI strategy for the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) that delivers a continuous improvement culture and achieves aspirational growth through improved customer experience.
As part of the Operations team this role will be key in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with both external and internal customers and key partners through impactful and customer centric ways of working. Therefore, the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization will be critical to the success of the role and the Laboratory Chemicals Division.

Equally vital will be an ability to think strategically and the skills to translate strategy to deployment, combined with the achieve business growth through targeted activity.
The incumbent will have a history of using financial know-how to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead division-wide continuous improvement work streams, prioritizing impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.Design, deploy, and sustain lean methodologies (e.g., standard work, visual management, daily management, problem-solving) through training, coaching, and hands-on facilitation.Translate business strategies into clear operational roadmaps, KPIs, and implementation plans that drive growth, productivity, and quality.Establish and maintain tools and standards that enable consistent execution (playbooks, templates, operating mechanisms, governance cadences).Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline end-to-end processes, optimize handoffs, and reduce waste and variation.Support project teams during planning, execution, and control phases to ensure timely, within-budget delivery and benefit realization.Champion cultural change by modeling desired behaviors, building engagement, and reinforcing accountability through practical routines and recognition.Implement and evolve the division’s performance management framework (e.g., TDM), ensuring metric clarity, cadence discipline, and alignment to divisional and company goals.Identify and resolve operational impediments that hinder strategic execution; systematically address root causes.Deliver divisional productivity targets through structured problem-solving, value stream improvements, and digital enablement where appropriate.Assess stakeholder and customer satisfaction, synthesize insights, and recommend iterative actions to ensure process success and sustainable outcomes.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, operations, or business preferred.10+ years in operations/manufacturing environments with a track record of continuous improvement delivery and change influence.Comfortable adopting AI and leveraging technology to accelerate improvement and growth.Strategic thinker able to connect the bigger picture to practical, shop-floor execution.Strong communicator skilled at gaining engagement and buy-in across levels and functions.Proven ability to influence without authority, empower teams, and sustain behavior change.Effective in matrixed settings with excellent stakeholder and customer management.Solid financial acumen, commercial awareness, and business knowledge to prioritize and quantify impact.Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $141,800.00–$212,675.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
